The holotype of ‘Procheneosaurus’ convincens, a juvenile lambeosaurine, is the most complete hadrosaurid known from Kazakhstan. North American species of Procheneosaurus are considered juveniles of Corythosaurus, Hypacrosaurus, and Lambeosaurus, rendering the generic name unusable.
