The family Boraginaceae Juss. (borage or forget-me-not) is characterized by alternately arranged linear or lanceolate leaves, bisexual flowers and coiled shaped inflorescence. The flower has usually five-lobed calyx; bell-shaped to tubular with five lobes, five stamens and one style with one or two stigmas.
