We compute the full spectrum and eigenstates of the Kalb–Ramond field in a warped non-compact Randall–Sundrum-type five-dimensional spacetime in which the ordinary four-dimensional braneworld is represented by a sine-Gordon soliton. This 3-brane solution is fully consistent with both the warped gravitational field and bulk dilaton configurations. In such a background we embed a bulk antisymmetric tensor field and obtain, after reduction, an infinite tower of normalizable Kaluza–Klein massive…
Kalb–Ramond field localization on a thick de Sitter brane
In this paper, we explore the localization condition of Kalb–Ramond (KR) tensorial gauge field on a thick de Sitter (dS) brane. Following the localization mechanism in the work by Chumbes et al (2012
Kalb–Ramond field localization in sine-Gordon braneworld models
In this paper, we investigate Kalb–Ramond field localization in two types of five-dimensional braneworld models given by sine-Gordon potentials. The sine-Gordon (SG) and double sine-Gordon (DSG)
Resonances of Kalb-Ramond field on symmetric and asymmetric thick branes
In this paper, we investigate the localization of the Kalb-Ramond field on symmetric and asymmetric thick branes, which are generated by a background scalar field. In order to localize the
Gauge Field Localization on Deformed Branes
In this paper, we utilise the Chumbes-Holf da Silva-Hott (CHH) mechanism to investigate the issue of gauge field localization on a deformed brane constructed with one scalar field, which can be
Fermion localization on branes with non-standard kinetic terms
In this paper, by using the Yukawa coupling mechanism, we consider the fermion localization in two types of braneworld models driven by real scalar fields with non-standard dynamics. Because of the
Fermion and graviton in Dirac–Born–Infeld braneworld models
In this paper, we study the braneworld models with non-standard kinetic term of Dirac–Born–Infeld (DBI) type in two case which are (I) in usual gravity and (II) in f ( T ) gravity. In each of these
Localization and mass spectra of various matter fields on scalar-tensor brane
Recently, a new scalar-tensor braneworld model was presented in [Phys. Rev. D 86 (2012) 127502]. It not only solves the gauge hierarchy problem but also reproduces a correct Friedmann-like equation
Introduction to Extra Dimensions and Thick Braneworlds
In this review, we give a brief introduction on the aspects of some extra dimension models and the five-dimensional thick brane models in extended theories of gravity. First, we briey introduce the
Spectrum structure of a fermion on Bloch branes with two scalar–fermion couplings
It is known that the Bloch brane is generated by an odd scalar field ϕ and an even one χ. In order to localize a bulk fermion on the Bloch brane, the coupling between the fermion and scalars should

Exact solutions for a Maxwell-Kalb-Ramond action with dilaton: Localization of massless and massive modes in a sine-Gordon brane-world
We analytically find the exact propagation modes of the electromagnetic and the Kalb-Ramond fields together in a five-dimensional curved space-time. The existence and localization of gauge particles
Confluent Heun functions in gauge theories on thick braneworlds
We investigate the propagation modes of gauge fields in an infinite Randall-Sundrum scenario. In this model a sine-Gordon soliton represents our thick four-dimensional braneworld while an
Results in Kalb-Ramond field localization and resonances on deformed branes
We make an analysis about several aspects of localization of the Kalb-Ramond gauge field in a specific four-dimensional AdS membrane embedded in a five-dimensional space-time. The membrane is
LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Readdressing the hierarchy problem in a Randall Sundrum scenario with bulk Kalb Ramond background
We re-examine the fine-tuning problem of the Higgs mass, when an antisymmetric 2-form Kalb–Ramond (KR) field is present in the bulk of a Randall–Sundrum (RS) braneworld. Taking into account the back
Gravity in the randall-sundrum brane world
TLDR
The weak gravitational field created by isolated matter sources in the Randall-Sundrum brane world is discussed and the leading Kaluza-Klein corrections to the linearized gravitational field of a nonrelativistic spherical object is calculated.
Localization of gravity and bulk matters on a thick anti-de Sitter brane
In this paper, we investigate the localization and the mass spectra of gravity and various bulk matter fields on a thick anti-de Sitter (AdS) brane, by presenting the mass-independent potentials of
Domain-wall branes in Lifshitz theories
We analyze whether or not Lifshitz field theories in 4 + 1 dimensions may provide ultraviolet-complete domain-wall-brane models. We first show that Lifshitz scalar-field theory can admit
