Motivated by the recent experiments on the kagome metals AV3Sb5 with A = K,Rb,Cs, which see onset of charge density wave (CDW) order at ∼ 100 K and superconductivity at ∼ 1 K, we explore the onset of superconductivity, taking the perspective that it descends from a parent CDW state. In particular, we propose that the pairing comes from the Pomeranchuk fluctuations of the reconstructed Fermi surface in the CDW phase. This scenario naturally explains the large separation of energy scale from the… Expand

Unconventional fermi surface instabilities in the kagome Hubbard model.

Superfluidity in topologically nontrivial flat bands
TLDR
The results establish that a topologically nontrivial flat band is a promising concept for increasing the critical temperature of the superconducting transition and provides Ds for the time-reversal invariant attractive Harper–Hubbard model that can be experimentally tested in ultracold gases.
