The KArlsruhe TRItium Neutrino (KATRIN) experiment is a next generation, model independent, large scale experiment to determine the neutrino mass by investigating the kinematics of tritium beta-decay with a sensitivity of 200 meV/c2. The measurement setup consists of a high luminosity windowless gaseous molecular tritium source (WGTS), a differential and cryogenic pumped electron transport and tritium retention section, a tandem spectrometer section (pre-spectrometer and main spectrometer) for…

Project 8: Using Radio Frequencies to Measure the Neutrino Mass
It is well known that the neutrino masses affect the shape of the energy spectrum of tritium beta-decay electrons. However, experiments have yet to measure that distortion. The Project 8 experiment
CeLAND: search for a 4th light neutrino state with a 3 PBq 144Ce-144Pr electron antineutrino generator in KamLAND
The reactor neutrino and gallium anomalies can be tested with a 3-4 PBq (75-100 kCi scale) 144Ce-144Pr antineutrino beta-source deployed at the center or next to a large low-background liquid
Neutrinoless Double-Beta Decay: a Probe of Physics Beyond the Standard Model
In the Standard Model the total lepton number is conserved. Thus, neutrinoless double-beta decay, in which the total lepton number is violated by two units, is a probe of physics beyond the Standard
Anti-Neutrino Charged Current Quasi-Elastic Scattering in MINER$\nu$A
The phenomenon of neutrino oscillation is becoming increasingly understood with results from accelerator-based and reactor-based experiments, but unanswered questions remain. The proper ordering of
The sun produces muon neutrinos flux without neutrino oscillations
The sun energy source is from magnetic fields in the galactic disk distributed by the supermassive black hole(reference 1). This article we will discuss the effect of the sun new energy source on the
Euclid preparation: IX. EuclidEmulator2 – power spectrum emulation with massive neutrinos and self-consistent dark energy perturbations
We present a new, updated version of the EuclidEmulator (called EuclidEmulator2), a fast and accurate predictor for the nonlinear correction of the matter power spectrum. Percent-level accurate
Neutrino electromagnetic interactions: A window to new physics
With the observation of neutrino masses and mixings, the study of their electromagnetic interactions has assumed greater relevance both as verification of the $\ensuremath{\nu}$ standard model, and
Integration of embedded single board computers into an object-oriented software bus DAQ application
The combination of an SBC and ORCA results in a dynamically configurable data acquisition system that makes it easy to support diverse sets of hardware.

Precision high voltage divider for the KATRIN experiment
The Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino (KATRIN) experiment aims to determine the absolute mass of the electron antineutrino from a precise measurement of the tritium β-spectrum near its endpoint at 18.6 keV

Final results from phase II of the Mainz neutrino mass searchin tritium ${\beta}$ decay
Abstract. This paper reports on the improved Mainz experiment on tritium $\beta$ spectroscopy which yields a 10 times higher signal to background ratio than before. The main experimental effects and
The collimating and magnifying properties of a superconducting field photoelectron spectrometer
An analysis is given of the possible advantages of a photoelectron spectrometer based upon the properties of the axially symmetric inhomogeneous magnetic field of a superconducting solenoid. The
