To Eat or Not to Eat? Debris Selectivity by Marine Turtles

This study highlights the need to address increasing amounts of plastic in the marine environment, and provides evidence for the disproportionate ingestion of balloons by marine turtles, by modeling turtles’ debris preferences using a resource selection function.
