Abstract An iterative approach based on phase retrieval and combination of constraints is proposed to reconstruct object wavefront free from twin image disturbances. Comparing with other iterative methods, the proposed method has a better elimination effect and faster rate of convergence. Both simulation and experimental results are presented to validate the feasibility of the proposed approach.
