Isoniazid (INH) continues to be a sheet anchor in treatment of tuberculosis, however its chronic administration is known to cause hepatotoxicity through a poorly defined mechanism. Ellucidation of mechanism underlying INH induced hepatotoxicity may be beneficial in devising ways to counteract toxic manifestations.
