Isolation of presumptive Streptobacillus moniliformis from abscesses associated with the female genital tract.

Abstract

We report three cases in which Streptobacillus moniliformis was isolated from abscesses. Abscess material in each case contained small, pleomorphic, gram-negative to gram-variable bacilli.
