Isolation of Corynebacterium ureicelerivorans from normally sterile sites in humans

Fifteen Corynebacterium ureicelerivorans isolates were recovered in pure culture from six patients during a five-year period. Five patients had bacteremia and the other was an infection of ascitic fluid.
