Isolation and purification of chiamydospores of Candida albicans.

Abstract

Two methods were investigated for their efficiency in isolating and purifying chlamydospores of Candida albicans. Chlamydospores were disconnected from pseudomycelial cells either enzymatically using beta-glucuronidase or mechanically by ultrasonic treatment.
