BACKGROUND Cutaneous Stewart-Treves lymphangiosarcomas represent a rare group of tumors characterized by a high grade of vascularization and by localization in an extremity with lymphedema. The multifocality and the localization makes these tumors eligible for treatment with isolated limb perfusion (ILP).
