Big data technologies is an evolving term that describes the variety of techniques for searching, collecting, processing, analysing, and storing a large amount of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data that can be mined for information. This is certainly the case for Islamic resources and materials that are widely available as structured, mainly unstructured and unrelated information on the web, this can be referred to as Islamic big data. A bibliometric approach to tracking big data research trends

The novelty of this study is that it provides a formula from multi-regression analysis for citation analysis based on the number of authors, number of pages and number of references to prove the hypothesis statistically and characterize the relationship among the variables.
