The ATLAS and CMS collaborations have recently shown data suggesting the presence of a Higgs boson in the vicinity of 125 GeV. We show that a two-Higgs-doublet model spectrum, with the pseudoscalar state being the lightest, could be responsible for the diphoton signal events. In this model, the other scalars are considerably heavier and are not excluded by the current LHC data. If this assumption is correct, future LHC data should show a strengthening of the signal, while the signals in the… Expand

LHC signatures of two-Higgs-doublets with fourth family
A bstractOn-going Higgs searches in the light mass window are of vital importance for testing the Higgs mechanism and probing new physics beyond the standard model (SM). The latest ATLAS and CMSExpand
Higgs boson decay into 2 photons in the type II Seesaw model
A bstractWe study the two photon decay channel of the Standard Model-like component of the CP-even Higgs bosons present in the type II Seesaw Model. The corresponding cross-section is found to beExpand
The SM extension with color-octet scalars: diphoton enhancement and global fit of LHC Higgs data
A bstractIn light of the significant progress of the LHC to determine the properties of the Higgs boson, we investigate the capability of the Manohar-Wise model in explaining the Higgs data. ThisExpand
LHC diphoton and Z+photon Higgs signals in the Higgs triplet model with Y = 0
A bstractWe study the implications of the LHC diphoton and Z+photon Higgs signals on the Higgs triplet model with Y=0, which predicts two neutral CP-even Higgs bosons h, H and a pair of charged HiggsExpand
Status of the two-Higgs-doublet model of type II
A bstractWe determine the allowed parameter space of the CP-conserving two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM) of type II with a softly broken Z2 symmetry. Our analysis includes theoretical constraints fromExpand
Status of low energy SUSY models confronted with the LHC 125 GeV Higgs data
A bstractConfronted with the LHC data of a Higgs boson around 125 GeV, different models of low energy SUSY show different behaviors: some are favored, some are marginally survived and some areExpand
Δr in the Two-Higgs-Doublet Model at full one loop level—and beyond
After the recent discovery of a Higgs-like boson particle at the CERN LHC-collider, it becomes more necessary than ever to prepare ourselves for identifying its standard or non-standard nature. TheExpand
Constraining parameter space in type-II two-Higgs doublet model in light of a 126 GeV Higgs boson
A bstractWe explore the implications of a 126 GeV Higgs boson indicated by the recent LHC results for two-Higgs doublet model (2HDM). Identifying the 126 GeV Higgs boson as either the lighter orExpand
Pair production of a 125GeV Higgs boson in MSSM and NMSSM at the LHC
A bstractIn light of the recent LHC Higgs search data, we investigate the pair production of a SM-like Higgs boson around 125GeV in the MSSM and NMSSM. We first scan the parameter space of each modelExpand
Probing the charged Higgs boson at the LHC in the CP-violating type-II 2HDM
A bstractWe present a phenomenological study of a CP-violating two-Higgs-doublet Model with type-II Yukawa couplings at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). In the light of recent LHC data, we focus onExpand
