Vaginal total hysterectomy with vaginal plasty was performed in 107 patients with pelvic organ prolapse. The posterior urethrovesical angle (PUVA) was measured by chain urethrocystography. Bladder capacity, residual and incontinence urine volume were measured before and after surgery, and the data obtained were analyzed in relation to postoperative improvement and recurrence of urinary dysfunction.
