2',5'-Dideoxy,3'-p-fluorosulfonylbenzoyl Adenosine (2',5'-dd3'-FSBA) was synthesized and found to be an agonist and affinity label for the "P"-site of adenylyl cyclase. This compound irreversibly inactivated both a crude detergent-dispersed adenylyl cyclase from rat brain and the partially purified enzyme from bovine brain.
