Iron-catalyzed dehydrogenative cross-coupling of carbonyl compounds with aliphatic peroxide was developed under mild conditions. A library of linear alkylated and arylated peroxides are synthesized in good to excellent yield. This method is highly selective and general for a range of biologically important derivatives of 2-oxindole, barbituric acid, and 4-hydroxy coumarin with a good functional group tolerance and without the cleavage of the peroxide bond. This peroxidation reaction is…

Manganese-Catalyzed Synthesis of Quaternary Peroxides: Application in Catalytic Deperoxidation and Rearrangement Reactions.
For the first time, unlike O-O bond cleavage, reductive C-O Bond cleavage in peroxides using Pd-catalyst and H2 is described which enables the reversible reaction to afford exclusively deperoxidised products.
Catalyst development for the synthesis of ozonides and tetraoxanes under heterogeneous conditions. Disclosure of an unprecedented class of fungicides for agricultural application.
A new class of antifungal agents for crop protection, cyclic peroxides: bridged 1,2,4,5-tetraoxanes and bridged ozonides, was discovered and are superior to commercial agro fungicides such as Triadimefon and Kresoxim-methyl.
A three-component iodine-catalyzed oxidative coupling reaction: a heterodifunctionalization of 3-methylindoles.
A metal-free method for the synthesis of heterodifunctional indole derivatives is developed through TBHP/KI-mediated oxidative coupling, enabling the direct realization of the heterodIfunctionalization of indole in one pot.
Benzylic Hydroperoxidation via Visible-light Induced Csp3-H activation.
A highly efficient benzylic hydroperoxidation has been realized through a visible-light induced Csp3-H activation. We be-lieve that this reaction undergoes a direct HAT mechanism catalyzed by eosin
Hypoiodite-Catalyzed Chemoselective Tandem Oxidation of Homotryptamines to Peroxy- and Epoxytetrahydropyridoindolenines.

How to Build Rigid Oxygen-Rich Tricyclic Heterocycles from Triketones and Hydrogen Peroxide: Control of Dynamic Covalent Chemistry with Inverse α-Effect.
An efficient one-pot procedure that "folds" acyclic triketones into structurally complex, pharmaceutically relevant tricyclic systems that combine high oxygen content with unusual stability is described, which can be explained through the "inverse α-effect".
