The role of the N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors in hyperlocomotion induced by (+)-5-methyl-10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[a,d]cyclohepten-5,10-imine hydrogen maleate (MK-801), a potent and selective noncompetitive NMDA receptor antagonist, was examined in male ddY mice.
