Invisible Unicode programming (IUP) can be defined as the art and science of hiding information in data that can be read by the computer. Invisible Unicode Programming (IUP) has the explicit goal of converting traditional character encodings to invisible encoding. This paper presents a new method to hide text. This systematic method uses the binary format of invisible character to hide and extract secret information. Creating a secret message involves four main steps, first using the binary…

Exploring steganography: Seeing the unseen

It is argued that steganography by itself does not ensure secrecy, but neither does simple encryption, and if these methods are combined, however, stronger encryption methods result.

Text Steganography in SMS

A new method for secret exchange of information through SMS is offered by using and developing abbreviation text steganography with the use of the invented language of SMS-texting.

Information hiding-a survey

An overview of the information-hiding techniques field is given, of what the authors know, what works, what does not, and what are the interesting topics for research.

Information Hiding Techniques: A Tutorial Review

An overview of various information hiding techniques such as steganography/ watermarking is presented along with techniques that were used to hide information, and text, image and audio based information hide techniques are discussed.

Information Hiding: Steganography and Watermarking

This chapter begins by introducing the motivation for information hiding, and delineate the classes of information by describing objectives, applications, and terminology, and three representative techniques will be described in depth.

Information Hiding in Text Using Typesetting Tools with Stego-Encoding

A steganographic method is proposed to embed secret information into text files. This is achieved by making slight modification to scattered inter-word spaces of the formatted text using the popular

Hide and Seek: An Introduction to Steganography

This article discusses existing steganographic systems and presents recent research in detecting them via statistical steganalysis and discusses the practical application of detection algorithms and the mechanisms for getting around them.

This paper provides a basic introduction to steganography and steganalysis, with a particular focus on text Steganography, and highlights some of the problems inherent in text steganographic as well as issues with existing solutions, and describes linguistic problems with character-based, lexical, and syntactic approaches.

Text Steganography in chat

A new method for secret exchange of information through chat is offered by using and developing abbreviation text steganography with the use of the SMS-texting language.

Copyright protection for the electronic distribution of text documents

Several mechanisms for marking documents and several other mechanisms for decoding the marks after documents have been subjected to common types of distortion are described and compared.
