To accumulate experimental data for theoretical investigation of threshold phenomena in nuclear reactions the excitation function of the 11B(t, p)13B reaction has been measured in the triton energy range Et=2.6-4.2 MeV which includes the threshold of the 11B(t, n)13C*(15.108 MeV, Jπ=3/2’, T=3/2) reaction at Et=3.42 MeV. With that purpose the boron layer (375 µgcm-2 thick and enriched to 92% in 11B) on tantalum backing (0.2 mm thick) were bombarded with tritons of the electrostatic tandem… CONTINUE READING
