in 3 formation In we to identify and understand the impact of various factors on O 3 formation and predict the O 3 concentrations under different pollution-reduced and climate change scenarios. We employ six supervised methods to estimate the observed O 3 using fourteen meteorological and chemical variables. We find that the deep neural network (DNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM) based models can predict O 3 concentrations accurately. We also demonstrate the importance of several variables…

A real-time hourly ozone prediction system using deep convolutional neural network

While the CNN model can predict the next 24 h of ozone concentrations within less than a minute, it notably underpredicts high ozone peaks during the summer, and several limitations of deep learning models for real-time air quality forecasting are identified for further improvement.

Tropospheric ozone changes, radiative forcing and attribution to emissions in the Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Model Intercomparison Project (ACCMIP)

Abstract. Ozone (O3) from 17 atmospheric chemistry models taking part in the Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Model Intercomparison Project (ACCMIP) has been used to calculate tropospheric ozone

Machine learning models accurately predict ozone exposure during wildfire events.

Using machine learning to build temperature-based ozone parameterizations for climate sensitivity simulations

A number of studies have demonstrated the importance of ozone in climate change simulations, for example concerning global warming projections and atmospheric dynamics. However, fully interactive

Tropospheric Ozone Assessment Report:Assessment of global-scale model performance for global and regional ozone distributions, variability, and trends

The goal of the Tropospheric Ozone Assessment Report (TOAR) is to provide the research community with an up-to-date scientific assessment of tropospheric ozone, from the surface to the tropopause.
