OBJECTIVE To identify intrinsic predictors of lateral ankle sprain. DESIGN Prospective cohort study. SETTING A performing arts secondary school and a dance school. PARTICIPANTS One hundred fifteen adolescent dancers (94 female and 21 male) entered the study.
