Abstract In this study, we investigate the influence of the intrinsic defects of carbon nanotube (CNT) on the interfacial shear strength (IFSS) of the interface between CNT and a polypropylene (PP) matrix using molecular mechanics (MM) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations.
