Intramuscular myxoma (IM) is a benign intramuscular neoplasm composed of fibroblasts and abundant myxoid stroma. IMs most commonly affect larger skeletal muscles, while those affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions are rare, with a small number of documented cases in the available literature.
