This study assessed the mechanism of fistula formation in intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN) of the pancreas. A total of 274 patients with IPMN who had been diagnosed by endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) at our center were enrolled.
