BACKGROUND Intraductal oncocytic papillary neoplasms (IOPN) are rare tumors of the pancreatic and biliary ductal system. It is not absolutely clear if the molecular and clinicopathologic characteristics of IOPN differ significantly from other related lesions, namely intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN).
