Recently it was proposed that the theory space of effective field theories with consistent UV completions can be described as a positive geometry, termed the EFThedron. In this paper we demonstrate that at the core, the geometry is given by the convex hull of product moment curves. This makes contact with the well studied bi-variate moment problem, which in various instances has known solutions, generalizing the Hankel matrices into moment matrices. In the infinite derivative limit, this… Expand

Analyticity and Unitarity for Cosmological Correlators
We study the fundamentals of quantum field theory on a rigid de Sitter space. We show that the perturbative expansion of late-time correlation functions to all orders can be equivalently generated byExpand
Dual EFT bootstrap: QCD flux tubes
Abstract We develop a bootstrap approach to Effective Field Theories (EFTs) based on the concept of duality in optimisation theory. As a first application, we consider the fascinating set of EFTsExpand
Natural Selection Rules: New Positivity Bounds for Massive Spinning Particles
We derive new effective field theory (EFT) positivity bounds on the elastic 2 → 2 scattering amplitudes of massive spinning particles from the standard UV properties of unitarity, causality, localityExpand
Positivity and Geometric Function Theory Constraints on Pion Scattering
This paper presents the fascinating correspondence between the geometric function theory and the scattering amplitudes with O(N) global symmetry. A crucial ingredient to show such correspondence is aExpand
QFT, EFT and GFT
We explore the correspondence between geometric function theory (GFT) and quantum field theory (QFT). The crossing symmetric dispersion relation provides the necessary tool to examine the connectionExpand
Standard Model EFTs via On-Shell Methods
We present the Standard Model Effective Field Theories (SMEFT) from purely on-shell arguments. Starting from few basics assumptions such as Poincaré invariance and locality, we classify all theExpand

Carving out the space of open-string S-matrix
In this paper, we explore the open string amplitude's dual role as a space-time S-matrix and a 1D CFT correlation function. We pursue this correspondence in two directions. First, beginning with aExpand
Crossing Symmetric Dispersion Relations in Quantum Field Theories.
TLDR
This Letter considers a crossing symmetric dispersion relation, reviving certain old ideas from the 1970s, and gives simple derivations of certain known positivity conditions for effective field theories, including the null constraints, which lead to two sided bounds and derive a general set of new nonperturbative inequalities. Gravitational effective field theory islands, low-spin dominance, and the four-graviton amplitude
We analyze constraints from perturbative unitarity and crossing on the leading contributions of higher-dimension operators to the four-graviton amplitude in four spacetime dimensions, includingExpand
Swampland Conditions for Higher Derivative Couplings from CFT
There are effective field theories that cannot be embedded in any UV complete theory. We consider scalar effective field theories, with and without dynamical gravity, in D-dimensional anti-de SitterExpand
Celestial Amplitudes from UV to IR
Celestial amplitudes represent 4D scattering of particles in boost, rather than the usual energy-momentum, eigenstates and hence are sensitive to both UV and IR physics. We show that known UV and IRExpand
Convex Geometry Perspective on the (Standard Model) Effective Field Theory Space.

It is shown that the dim-8 operators are important in reverse engineering the UV physics from the standard model EFT and deserve more theoretical and experimental investigations, and theoretical bounds on the Wilson coefficients can be obtained by identifying the boundaries of the cone. Expand
New positivity bounds from full crossing symmetry
