  • Seven patients who had spinal interspace infections underwent clinical, laboratory, and radiographic examinations, and findings are reported. Lytic fragmentation of adjacent vertebral bodies is a characteristic appearance on CT scans. Sagittal-coronal reformations confirm the end-plate irregularity and establish the diagnosis.
