A n increasing challenge is facing the OT&E community when operating across multiple weapon systems at various stages of development. After studying the policy, process, and practice associated with an AF Major Command's (MAJ-COM's) OT&E program, this article concludes that the AF, while espousing a testing philosophy of seamless verification, still needs to transition to a more integrated system of systems (SoS) approach to planning and executing OT&E.
