The diffusion of H2 in the α-and β-phase of palladium hydride was measured electrochemically and found to agree very well with results reported in the literature. The α-β phase transition on continuous electrolysis of Pd wire and Pd foil electrodes was found to be strongly dependent on both charging current and charging time.
