Interleukin (IL)-32 is a recently described proinflammatory cytokine, characterized by induction of nuclear factor (NF)-κB activation. We studied IL-32α expression in human colonic subepithelial myofibroblasts (SEMFs). Colonic SEMFs were isolated from normal human colon tissue.
