BACKGROUND/AIM Interaction between tumor cells and host's immunoregulatory cells in creation of microenvironment that supports tumor progression is the focus of numerous investigations in recent years. Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MIDSCs) are heterogeneous population of immature dendritic cells, macrophages and granulocytes.
