Interactions between exogenous deoxyribonucleic acid and membrane vesicles isolated from competent and noncompetent Bacillus subtilis.

Abstract

Competent cultures of Bacillus subtilis 168 have been fractionated into a high-competent and a low-competent fraction by a large-scale separation technique.
