Azoxystrobin provided protective and curative effects against stem rust (caused by Puccinia graminis subsp. graminicola) of inoculated perennial ryegrass under field conditions, significantly reducing disease severity compared with the nontreated check when applied as much as 15 days before infection or 14 days after infection.
