We present intensity-corrected Herschel maps at 100, 160, 250, 350, and 500 μm for 56 isolated low-mass clouds. We determine the zero-point corrections for Herschel Photodetector Array Camera and Spectrometer (PACS) and Spectral Photometric Imaging Receiver (SPIRE) maps from the Herschel Science Archive (HSA) using Planck data. Since these HSA maps are small, we cannot correct them using typical methods. Here we introduce a technique to measure the zero-point corrections for small Herschel maps…

Periodic Eruptive Variability of the Isolated Pre-main-sequence Star V347 Aurigae
- PhysicsThe Astronomical Journal
- 2020
V347 Aurigae is associated with the small dark cloud L1438 and appears to be an isolated pre-main-sequence star located at distance d ≈ 200 pc. Multi-epoch, archival photometry reveals periodic…
The Twisted Magnetic Field of the Protobinary L483
- Physics, GeologyThe Astrophysical Journal
- 2022
We present H-band (1.65 μm) and SOFIA HAWC+ 154 μm polarization observations of the low-mass core L483. Our H-band observations reveal a magnetic field that is overwhelmingly in the E–W direction,…
A multi-molecular line study of the star-forming globule CB88-230
- PhysicsAstronomy & Astrophysics
- 2019
Context. This paper relates to low-mass star formation in globules, and the interaction of newly-formed stars with their environment. We follow up on the results of our earlier observations of this…
The link between gas and stars in the S254–S258 star-forming region
- PhysicsMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society
- 2021
The paper aims to study relation between the distributions of the young stellar objects (YSOs) of different ages and the gas-dust constituents of the S254–S258 star formation complex. This is…
The Formation Conditions of the Wide Binary Class 0 Protostars within BHR 71
- PhysicsThe Astrophysical Journal
- 2019
We present a characterization of the binary protostar system that is forming within a dense core in the isolated dark cloud BHR71. The pair of protostars, IRS1 and IRS2, are both in the Class 0…
Warm CO Gas Generated by Possible Turbulent Shocks in a Low-mass Star-forming Dense Core in Taurus
- PhysicsThe Astrophysical Journal
- 2018
We report ALMA Cycle 3 observations in CO isotopes toward a dense core, MC27/L1521F in Taurus, which is considered to be at an early stage of multiple star formation in a turbulent environment.…
Distortion of Magnetic Fields in BHR 71
- PhysicsThe Astrophysical Journal
- 2020
The magnetic field structure of a star-forming Bok globule BHR 71 was determined based on near-infrared polarimetric observations of background stars. The magnetic field in BHR 71 was mapped from 25…
