Integral cryptanalysis is one of the most powerful attacks on symmetric key ciphers. Todo proposed a new technique named division property to find efficient integral characteristics, and showed that the full-round MISTY1 was attackable faster than exhaustive search [22]. In this paper, we apply it to the symmetric key block cipher MISTY2, which wasn't discussed in [22]. As a result, we found the 7-round integral characteristics of MISTY2.
