Kinetics and physiology of Corynebacterium glutamicum 2262 cultured for extended periods in continuous mode were investigated at 33, 39 and 41 degrees C. At 33 degrees C no glutamate production occurred whatever the dilution rates tested (ranging between 0.05 and 0.5 h(-1)).
