MicroRNAs (miRs) are small non-coding RNAs, which regulate gene expression profiles of several genes. Consequently, miRs control and regulate several vital cellular processes like proliferation, apoptosis, differentiation, etc. Not surprisingly, altered expression of miRs has been linked to cancer development and progression.
