After a noticed introduction of the “nanodielectric” concept in 2001, some of the innovative and original elements of the concept are revisited. Although the presence of nanometric objects and the existence of processes with characteristic lengths comprised in the nanoscale existed, the exacerbation of these in a collective manner to affect the dielectrity did not.
