Toxoplasma gondii-derived heat shock protein 70 (T.g.HSP70) is a tachyzoite-specific virulent molecule expressed before the death of hosts. We have already demonstrated the vaccine effects of T.g.HSP70 gene targeting peripheral epidermal or dermal dendritic cells (DC) to limit T. gondii loads in T. gondii-infected mice.
