PURPOSE To compare the use of magnetic resonance (MR) imaging with the use of arthroscopy for the diagnosis of tibiofibular syndesmotic injury. MATERIALS AND METHODS This study involved 58 patients who had ankle sprains or distal fibular fractures and underwent surgery.
