We study the initial and final state interaction effects in the transverse momentum dependent parton distributions in the small-x saturation region. In particular, we discuss the quark distributions in the semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering, Drell-Yan lepton pair production and dijet-correlation processes in pA collisions. We calculate the quark distributions in the scalar-QED model and then extend to the color glass condensate formalism in QCD. The quark distributions are found universal…

Lepton pair production through two photon process in heavy ion collisions

This paper investigates the electromagnetic production of lepton pairs with low total transverse momentum in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. We estimate the initial photons' transverse momentum

Forward jets and energy flow in hadronic collisions

We observe that at the Large Hadron Collider, using forward + central detectors, it becomes possible for the first time to carry out calorimetric measurements of the transverse energy flow due to

Transverse momentum dependent parton distribution and fragmentation functions with QCD evolution

We assess the current phenomenological status of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions (PDFs) and fragmentation functions (FFs) and study the effect of consistently

On the process dependent nuclear $k_\perp$ broadening effect

We study the process dependent nuclear $k_\perp$ broadening effect by employing the transverse momentum dependent(TMD) factorization approach in combination with the Mclerran-Venugopalan(MV) model.

University of Groningen Operator analysis of pT-widths of TMDs

Transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions (PDFs), TMDs for short, are defined as the Fourier transform of matrix elements of nonlocal combinations of quark and gluon fields.
