The purpose of this study was to objectively evaluate the efficacy of terfenadine. Forty-two patients with typical pollinosis were chosen and divided into terfenadine group (n = 20) and placebo group (n = 22) by the double blind method. Prior to the trial, skin end point titration tests were performed. Following taking terfenadine 60mg bid (or placebo) for 3d the tests were repeated again.
