The interaction of 1,2-dipalmitoylglycerol (DPG) with dipalmitoylphosphatidylserine (DPPS) has been studied in aqueous dispersion in the presence and in the absence of Ca2+ by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and 45Ca(2+)-binding.
