Within the standard V - A theory of weak interactions, Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) and the linear sigma-model (LsM) of strong low-energy hadronic interactions we analyse infrared properties of hadronic structure of the neutron and proton in the neutron beta decays to leading order in the large nucleon mass expansion. We confirm validity and high confidence level of contributions of hadronic structure of the nucleon to the radiative corrections, calculated by Sirlin (Phys. Rev. 164, 1767 (1967… Expand

Lorentz structure of the vector part of matrix elements ofn↔ptransitions, caused by strong low-energy interactions and hypothesis of conservation of charged vector current
We analyse the Lorentz structure of the matrix elements of the transitions "neutron proton", induced by the charged hadronic vector current. We show that the term maintaining conservation of theExpand
General Properties of the Electromagnetic Corrections to the Beta Decay of a Physical Nucleon
Some general properties of the electromagnetic corrections to the P decay of a physical nucleon, that is, a nucleon in the presence of strong interactions, are discussed. The aim of the paper is toExpand
Charged current neutrino-nucleus interactions at intermediate energies
• Physics

We have extended our model for charged current neutrino-nucleus interactions developed in Phys. Rev. C 73, 065502 (2006) to neutral current reactions. For the elementary neutrino-nucleon interaction,Expand
Precision Theoretical Analysis of Neutron Radiative Beta Decay
• Physics

In the Standard Model of electroweak interactions and in the tree--approximation we calculate the rate and branching ratio of the neutron radiative beta decay with one-real photon emission by takingExpand
Deficit of reactor antineutrinos at distances smaller than 100 m and inverse β decay
• Physics
• 2013
We analyse a change of a deficit of reactor antineutrinos at distances smaller than 100 m by changing the lifetime of the neutron from tau_n = 885.7 s to tau_n = 879.6 s, calculated for the axialExpand
Radiative Corrections to Muon and Neutron Decay
The corrections to muon decay due to electromagnetic interactions have been recalculated. Our results differ from those of Behrends, Finkelstein and Sirlin, because those authors used an inconsistentExpand
Radiative corrections to β-decay and nucleon form factors
Abstract An attempt is made to estimate the radiative corrections to the vector part of the β-interaction. As previous calculations have given a result which is logarithmically divergent, weExpand
T-odd momentum correlation in radiative β decay
• Physics

The triple-product correlations observable in ordinary neutron or nuclear beta decay are all naively T violating and can connect, through an assumption of CPT invariance, to constraints on sources ofExpand
Precision analysis of electron energy spectrum and angular distribution of neutron β− decay with polarized neutron and electron

Analysis of neutron -decay
Abstract The factors determining neutron β-decay are analyzed in detail. The 19 “small” terms entering the lifetime of the neutron within the V, A framework are quantitatively evaluated. The CoulombExpand
