We studied 12 small, seasonally flooded, depressional wetlands on the Atlantic Coastal Plain of Georgia, U.S.A. Each wetland was embedded in stands of managed plantation pine. The pine trees surrounding each wetland had been harvested and replanted beginning in 1997 (2 sites), 1995 (2 sites), 1993 (1 site), 1988 (2 sites), 1984 (2 sites) or 1975 (3 sites).
