Abstract 1. 1. High concentrations of op'DDD were required to inhibit adrenal steroidogenesis (10−2 M). 2. 2. Inhibition was generally not improved by dissolving the drug in organic solvents. 3. 3. The solvents used were themselves inhibitors. 4. 4. There was no difference according to the animal's sex in the considered steroids synthesis.
