BACKGROUND We studied job satisfaction, physical health, emotional well-being and working conditions in 125 Austrian and Swiss anaesthetists. METHODS Responses to self-reporting questionnaires were evaluated. Dependent variables included job satisfaction, emotional well-being and physical health.
