Output of polysaccharide from both Astragalus membranaceus(Fisch.) Bunge.and Epimedium brevicornum Maxim.,which were extracted from the ordinary powder and the ultrafine one,was determined by the anthrone-sulfuric acid method.The results indicated that Astragalus membranaceus(Fisch.) Bunge.polysaccharide and Epimedium brevicornum Maxim.polysaccharide contents of the ultrafine powder is increased by 117.13% and 315.15% compared with that of the ordinary one under the same condition. 
Effects Of Ultrafine Powder of the Stem and Leaf of Astragalus on Immunity in Chickens
TLDR
Results indicate that both 1 and 1.5% SLASUP can improve the immune functions of chickens significantly by increasing the antibody titers, IL-2 and IFN-ᵧ contents. Expand
