The dependence of the optical responses of microcavity-type one-dimensional (1D) photonic crystals and 1D magnetophotonic crystals (1D-MPCs) on the arrangement order ratio (AOR), which is the ratio of the first and second layers' refractive indexes of Bragg reflectors, is studied.
